21 Yr Old Heading Horse For Sale $$$Free To Good Home$$$$$ Smoke is 21 years old, and still an amazing heading horse. No issues in the box (i would hope not at 21!), and he puts you in the same place every time, pulls hard, and faces automatically. He needs maintenance on his old bones however, and bi-annual hock injections and/or legend. His teeth are not the greatest, but on the right feed you can keep him looking great. The heat has been a bit hard on him this summer, but he still looks pretty good. He is not a pet, meaning he is all business and doesn't like to be loved on or petted, but he is not bad mannered at all, no kick, no bite, loads easily in the trailer. He is truly an amazing horse, my daughter roped on him last year in THSRA, but isn't roping this year so we want to find a good home for him. He was given to us, and we want to d! o the same for someone else. He knows his job inside and out, and could really help another young roper.
